In a world saturated with personal opinions and human wisdom, it is imperative to prioritize hearing the living word of God, which brings truth, light, and life. While human senses and intellect are limited, the Holy Spirit reveals deep secrets and divine wisdom that go beyond what the eye can see or the mind can imagine. Relying on clever speech or human effort often gets in God's way, whereas His power is made perfect in our weakness and simple reliance on His word. As shown through the story of Lazarus, we must learn to move out of the "flesh" of our current circumstances and into the victory of the Spirit. Ultimately, the goal is to stop offering the world our opinions and instead point people toward the resurrected Christ, who is the true light in a darkened world.
